Featuring live Americana, folk, and bluegrass musicians performing intimate sets across Kentucky.
On Saturday, May 11, Lost River Sessions LIVE! hosts an exciting evening of music featuring three acts.
Headliner Nikki Lane is a singer-songwriter from Nashville who’s received glowing reviews from NPR, the Guardian, and Rolling Stone. She’s also been featured on CBS Sunday Morning (with Loretta Lynn) and appeared as the musical guest on Conan.
The concert also features The Howlin’ Brothers – a trio string band out of Nashville playing upbeat old-time blues and bluegrass. Opening the show is Bowling Green’s own Leslie Weiler Meng.
Before the concert, join us for the 2nd Annual Lost River Sessions Arts & Music Festival in Circus Square Park from 3-6 pm. The celebration is open to the public and features local artists, music, food vendors, and kid-friendly activities.
Lost River Sessions LIVE! brings the charismatic storytelling nature of folk, bluegrass and Americana music to the stage of the iconic Capitol Arts Center in downtown Bowling Green. All shows are broadcast live on WKU Public Radio and streaming on wkyufm.org.
The 2018-19 LRS Live! concert series will feature a variety of regional musicians and artists. More information is available at lostriversessions.org.
